Overview

The all-inclusive Barcelo Solymar Arenas Blancas Resort is situated on a 12-mile stretch of beach in Varadero, Cuba. White sand beaches meet beautiful turquoise waters to create one of the world’s best snorkeling sites. Turtles, fish, lobsters, and crabs flock to the region’s colorful coral reefs. After a long day at the beach families can retire to brightly colored suites or dine at one of the resort’s five restaurants. Kids will enjoy the three swimming pools and the separate children’s pool. Babysitting services are available for parents who want to enjoy Cuba’s diverse nightlife, or order a massage from the spa.

This property shouhd not be reccommended to anyone. No hot water for half of the stay, no towelservice, just a nasty place to vacation. Heard horror stories from other guests, aunts, no A.C.etc. The beaches were the best part of the trip, having not been in a all inclusive in Cuba before however vactioned in a all inclusive elswhere, the food was not what I have experieced before.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT! DO NOT BE LIKE ME, I THOUGHT IT WOULD NOT BE THAT BAD... TRUST ME WHEN I SAY ITS THAT BAD!

I highly suggest not coming to this resort, I just spent the last week there and it was terrible! Not only did my phone get stolen, and my moms hair straightener. The bathrooms are filthy, and smell like your walking into an outhouse. We originally had a superior ocean room, and there was not a SINGLE towel to be found in the room. We then were moved to a bungalow room, and the room was dirty, COVERED in ants, again not a single towel, no hot water and when my mother-in-law did try to have a cold shower the drain backed up and completely flooded her room. I was warned prior to the trip to Cuba to not have high expectations for the food, so I was prepared to not be eating well, but I was not prepared for this! The food was burnt, or completely raw. Covered in flies, and ice cold. The meals were the same everyday, and needless to say I ate breads and butter all week long, if there was any bread left. Not to mention, all bars close at 11pm, and beer is the only drink available past then. This was the most expensive trip, and absolute worst I have ever been on! I hope this review helps anyone who is looking at the photos, thinking its “nice and not to bad” that ALL PHOTOS are 100% photoshopped. PLEASE TRUST ME WHEN I SAY, DO NOT BE ME! DO NOT GO HERE! ITS THAT BAD.
