9 Surprisingly Affordable All Inclusive Resorts for 2019

The case for an all inclusive family vacation is easy: pay for the entire vacation upfront, and don’t think about it again! While many all inclusive resorts will set you back a pretty penny, we’ve found some surprisingly affordable all inclusive resorts to consider for your next family vacation.

1. Allegro Cozumel – Cozumel, Mexico

It’s hard to beat the affordable all inclusive deals at this stunning, recently renovated resort. A family of four can spend a mere $1,000 (with a $500 resort credit) for a close-to-the-beach, premium two-bed guestroom for four glorious nights at the Allegro Cozumel. During your stay, you’ll have access to the kids’ club; illuminated tennis courts; a water park for kids; every single meal, snack, and drink your family desires; and non-motorized water sports like kayaking and windsurfing. Gratuities are included in rates, as well. You can also take a unique tour at the Cozumel Pearl Farm to learn how the precious gems are made and farmed! Premium level at this affordable all inclusive resort also includes access to a special lounge with continental breakfast, afternoon sandwiches, and a self-service bar, plus easy access to the pool and hot tub area. In the room, there’s a DVD player for when the sun gets to be too much for little ones, and a mini-bar that’s restocked daily.

2. Hard Rock Riviera Maya – Riviera Maya, Mexico

Ditch the family minivan for the concert tour bus at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. For just over $2,000, you can book an affordable all inclusive stay in a Deluxe Platinum Double room with Rock Royalty Level Privileges. that include a personal assistant who will be at your beck and call from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. In addition, enjoy nightly sweets, a menu of fun pillow and aromatherapy choices (try the lavender!), in-room soaking spa tub preparation, a free 25-minute couples massage with use of the Rock Spa sauna beforehand, and VIP check-in/check-out. During the day, the kids will have a blast at the new onsite Rockaway Bay Water Park included in your package, splashing or relaxing at one of the many pools and beaches, or testing their physical limits at Woodward, the resort’s massive extreme sports complex (additional cost applies), all while being close to delicious food or drink.

3. Occidental Punta Cana – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

A Family Junior Suite for four nights, for just over $1,000 (including round-trip airport transportation!) is extreme value in this tropical paradise in the Dominican Republic. With 11 restaurants (seven of which are á la carte, including a steakhouse), three swimming pools, beach soccer and two tennis courts, plus unlimited water sport action, the Occidental Punta Cana has it all. During the day (9 a.m. to 11 p.m.), little ones age 4 to 12 can play in the children’s mini club while mom and dad unwind at the spa or fall asleep on the beach with an adult beverage in hand. After the kids are sound asleep, grown-ups can head to the Mangú Disco.

We especially love the IBEROSTAR Paraiso Beach, which offers reasonable rates (often around $100 per person, per night) for family rooms that can accommodate up to six people; a sprawling pool complex; a kids’ club; teen-only disco; and nightly entertainment. Delicious dining options include buffets with something even your pickiest eaters will enjoy. Parentsyou’ll appreciate that the resort offers babysitting services so you can indulge in a spa treatment or play golf across the street.
