Terrible staff and food

by Splatter52

A large group of us stayed here in the fall 2019 for a conference. The rooms were nothing special, didn't even have glasses for drinking. They left us small Dixie cups. Arrived for pre-arranged check-in at 3:00. No rooms were ready. They took my phone number and said they'd call when it was ready. After 2 hrs, I checked again and was told it was ready a while ago although nobody could be bothered calling. In a nutshell, the uncaring, uninformed staff never improved. They acted like we were a inconvenience. There were no activities at all. I am a chef, and a vastly better chef than the short order cook that passes for their chef. Dry, tasteless (unless it was poor taste), cheap food. You don't need to be a pretend chef to make packaged cheap sauces and use frozen desserts. The final day was to be a box lunch. The exhorbinant rates we paid entitled us to half a wrap, an apple and a granola bar. A kids meal from a burger chain is hugely better than what this dump dishes up. In fact, a number of people mentioned they couldn't wait to get real food to get the taste of this cold, unimaginative, poor tasting fare out of their mouths. The orders were consistently wrong and the service slow. The grounds were in poor shape and repair. No wonder they have you sign a waiver upon arrival. The staff stole my iPhone charging cord to which the management could care less. In summation, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
If you do, your terrible stay will be your own fault.
