Overview

The Bayview may not offer much in amenities, but where it lacks in that arena, it provides spacious, clean rooms with fantastic ocean views. Seventy-five feet from shore, the hotel features Family Rooms and Suites, with two beds and a pull-out sofa or two beds with pull-out sofa and adjoining king with pull-out sofa, respectively. Rooms feature microwaves, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel’s townhouses provide space for larger families in two- and three-bedroom configurations with full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, electric fireplaces, and two and a half bathrooms.

Complimentary breakfast is provided daily, and a courtesy van is available between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Stunning views

We stayed two nights recently at The Bayview. We got a room with an ocean view and it was spectacular! In the mornings, we could see the sunrise through the trees and over the ocean from our room. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly here. It isn't a large hotel so there were never crowds to fight and it remained very quiet. This is a perfect hotel for a romantic vacation. The location is within striking distance of downtown and Acadia National Park. We went to both with ease. I would most definitely recommend this hotel!

We would go back in a heartbeat

My husband and I went on a vacation with some very dear friends. We decided to reserve the Bayview. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces. The view was amazing from our bay side room. From the friendly staff to the little extras like fresh cookies in the afternoon, our stay was amazing. They also offered to shuttle us downtown and pick us up which was a definate bonus. We would love to go back and stay there again someday.
