What a view!!

by taylorcpa

We stayed in motel room #6 - the room was small but the views were large! The small bathroom had the tiniest sink I've seen but it was functional. We could hear our neighbors but otherwise it was quiet. The best part was sitting on our "porch" - I could have sat there all day. Our room was clean and new with a cute refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, and bottle of wine.

DRIFT OCEANSIDE
All The Reasons You Visit Maine Coast!

Top 10 Reasons Drift Is Perfect Place To Stay:

• Location: ON the water? Nearly IN the Water!
Truly the brightest gem of mid-Coast Maine.

• Views of sea & islands: BEST on East Coast.
Even from comfy seating inside room.

• Homey, yet all modern comforts, including
heat for cooler nights. Excellent, responsive
service. Kitchenette for meal prep, with all
Pots, pans, dishes, & tableware provided.
Especially good because leaving cabin view
was often not necessary. Perfect right here.

• Gorgeous designs inside & out complement
natural beauty of mid-coast Maine. Cabin
doors are color of brown-eyed-Susans
yellow. Bright, yet meshes with nature.

• Variety of natural habitat surrounds cabins:
meadows (fireflies in June!), woodlands (many
songbirds), flowers, rocky coast, open water:
Penobscot Bay, opening into Atlantic Ocean.

• Private Beach for easy water access.
Yes: it’s more beautiful than any other place.

• Avoids the crowds further south & north.
Well worth avoiding.

• Just a mile north of Maine’s loveliest harbor,
Camden — with waterfall, unique shops,
Schooner Cruise options, & delicious
restaurants. No chain stores.

• Directly opposite state park of Camden Hills.
Not a hiker? Easy road to climb Mount Battie
for knockout views of mid-coast Maine,
including Camden Harbor, sea, & islands.

• Open mid-May through mid-October!
Six months to find perfect peace.

We’ve been loving this property as Beloin’s a dozen summers, for a wonderful week every year. Our great joy amidst homey cottages kept by generations of previous owners — Agnes, Fred, Jean — made us fearful new owners may not love the land as longtime guests do, and as the Beloin’s did. No need to worry!

Ellen & Casey Reynolds, the new owners, have further enhanced and extended Beloin’s priceless legacy far beyond imagination. While maintaining rustic charm, Drift Oceanside is bright, beautifully-restored, and even better with upgrades.

Bonus for great mattresses, soft sheets, toasty quilts, & warm towels — perfection. You will LOVE your stay at Drift. In fact, we love it so much, had to extend our week by several extra days its launch year 2019 — and will book next year’s dates before leaving. Best compliment ever! Lovin’ it.
