Woodloch Pines

Woodloch Pines is one of few all-inclusive resorts in the U.S., and one of the most -- if not the most -- revered resorts in the Poconos. The all-season hotel celebrates national holidays with themed packages (Spooktacular Weekends, Thanksgiving Sampler), and activities and events include everything from carnivals, scavenger hunts and athletic contests in the summer, to light festivals, snow tubing and live entertainment in the winter. Families stay in suites or cabins, the latter of which offer full-size refrigerators (though you won"t need to prepare meals; those are on the house).

Skytop Lodge

Skytop Lodge might as well be the cousin of Woodloch Pines, with all-inclusive packages and activities galore, namely horseback riding. It"s also a teen"s dream, with paintball, zip-lining, rock climbing, and off-road tours offered at The Adventure Center. Families can choose to stay in the resort"s lodge, inn, or cottages, the latter of which include shared washers and dryers. There are three onsite restaurants, plus a tap room and tea room.

Great Wolf Lodge Poconos

Great Wolf Lodge Poconos is a staple in the region. Naturally, the hotel offers an indoor water park, plus character meet-and-greet experiences, live entertainment, an arcade, ropes course, bowling alley, mini-golf course and spas (one for kids and one for adults). There are six restaurants onsite, plus several interactive games, including Wolf Walk (learn how to howl like a wolf) and Howly Wood XD Theater (watch a film in 4D). Book a stay in a Wolf Den Suite or KidKamp Suite for an extra special experience.

Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

Opened in 2015, Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark is a sure-fire hotel choice for families visiting the Poconos -- especially if they plan to visit nearby Camelback Mountain. Guests of the hotel enjoy access to Aquatopia, which features 13 waterslides, a lazy river, spray ground and more. They also enjoy nine restaurants, mini-golf, a ropes course, rock-climbing wall, arcade, and art studio, and youngsters can visit the Oasis Kids Spa for manicures, pedicures, facials and make-up applications. The largest accommodations (three-bedroom condos) can sleep as many as 14 people.

Kalahari Resort Poconos

Also launched in 2015, Kalahari Resort Poconos features indoor and outdoor water parks with waterslides, spray grounds, a lazy river, wave pool and surfing simulator. Families can dine at seven restaurants onsite, and choose from several accommodation options -- including Penthouse Suites that sleep up to 12 guests. The hotel has a spa, and organizes special activities for kids, such as cookie decorating, scavenger hunts, storytelling and finger painting.

Bushkill Inn and Conference Center

If you"re planning to visit Bushkill Falls, Bushkill Inn & Conference Center is a good choice for accommodations -- it"s a 4-minute walk away. The hotel offers a wide array of activities -- both indoors and out -- from paddle boating and fishing to movie nights and ice cream socials. Families can stay in traditional guestrooms or suites, or opt to sleep in cottages for an authentic experience in the great outdoors. There are two restaurants onsite, as well as a spa.
