The BEST WESTERN Jaco Beach Resort is an all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica with 125 guestrooms and suites with free Wi-Fi, TVs, air conditioning and daily housekeeping. Complimentary cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request.
The resort is steps from the beach, with water sports on offer and more than enough room for building sandcastles. There are also multiple pools, with one just for children, as well as tennis courts, volleyball courts, a playground, scheduled activities and more. The resort can also help set up offsite excursions to local national parks and towns.
There are three onsite restaurants and bars for families to enjoy. El Muelle Bar sits near the beach with snacks and light fare on offer. El Puerto Restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar has a variety of drinks — including non-alcoholic for kids and teens — plus smoothies, sodas and shaved ice treats.
Additional amenities include laundry service, free parking and a gift shop for souvenirs.

My Husband and I honeymooned here and had an amazing time! This was a great laid back place to honeymoon. We chose it because it was affordable and around everything we wanted to see. Not to mention all inclusive!!
The rooms are rather bland but functional and clean. We were fine with the room accommodations because we didn't spend much time in them except to sleep. The cleaning crew does a great job though! So maybe not super fancy but super sanitary. The only real complaint I had about the rooms was the beds were rather firm. I have to say though I prefer soft beds.
The resort accommodations MORE than make up the bland rooms and firm bed though. The pool is amazing and the pool side service is great. They have a lot of activities around the resort so there is always something to do. The food in the dining hall is amazing too! The bar snacks they have are not as nice as the dining hall but that is expected and if you are going for adult drinks try the pina colada. I was in heaven!
I would suggest doing some of the out of resort tours they offer if you are staying there longer than a couple of days. My husband and I did the ATVs, Tortuga Island, and the national park. It was worth the extra money! Not to mention a family resourt. We were honeymooners but it was a fun kid friendly place for sure.
All in all I would suggest going here! It is so much fun and a great deal! My husband and I will definitely be going back!!
From the moment I registered I received excellent service, as a solo visitor was made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was brilliant, 15th was Costa Rica's Independence Day. Access to the beach was easy. All felt very safe, security was in situ.
