Disgusting, unclean, terrible breakfast

by GabrielleGlow

So, upon arrival, the front desk area looked barren. The lady checking us in was very unprofessional. We paid virtually no mind to that, as typically staff is no indication on the cleanliness or the niceness of the rooms. Going to the room, we noticed used tissues and cigarettes on the steps (please see photos). Upon entering the room, the room was seemingly clean, however, upon closer inspection there was a used rubber band for braces sitting in the chair (see photos) and used fake eyelashes on the floor of the bathroom (see photos). The roll of toilet paper had not been changed since the last guest.

This morning, we went down to see the "good and hot breakfast." There was nothing hot besides the luke warm coffee. There were no eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. The only food available was yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeal, and cold toaster items (e.g., toast, Eggo waffles). I included photos of that as well. They were out of bagels, so I asked for a restock. The hotel personnel said that there were no more bagels. Why am I not surprised? For a similar price range in the same area, stay at the Days Inn.

that face I make when I show up for a reservation I made 6 months ago...

...and the hotel is closed. Was a Best Western when I booked it...never heard from anyone. Festival International was in town so rooms were a premium...never got inside, but the place looked like a dump. Had a great time in Lafayette though!
