Great location and comfortable cabins. I spent 2 nights here with my mom and dog for a mother/daughter getaway to see the eagles and was very happy with the location and accommodations. Very close to The Village for restaurants and shopping. The cabin was a very nice size for the 2 of us plus my dog. It was great how friendly everyone was and how pet friendly they are. Keith the maintenance man was very helpful on all the questions we had, he always helped with a smile and even gave us directions home to avoid the winding roads down the mountain.
We will be staying here again on our next trip out hopefully in a few months. I highly recommend Big Bear Frontier!!
You can’t beat the location, you can walk to the Alpine slides, the village, bowling alley and everything else is just a short car ride away. The rooms are cute and although they are a little dated, they were clean. The walls are paper thin, we could hear everything that our neighbors were talking about and if you’re on the ground level you’ll hear quite a bit of noise from your upstairs neighbor. We spent very little time in our rooms so these weren’t huge issues for us.
The front staff could definitely be more cheery, only one of them seemed to remotely enjoy her job, if I had to come up with a negative, that’d be it.
