Good hotel with even better location

by Figge_Reis

Stayed five nights for a long weekend with my son. Great room with no disturbance from the surrounding streets. Breakfast ok, but with a very crowded breakfast-area a bit on on the stressful side. Close to at least four different tubestations(5-10 mins walk). Easy access to Hyde Park. Would definitely return.

Nice stay with the family

Overall we've had a very good experience.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was big, clean and quite new, with a comfortable bed and all the basics.
The only problems we encountered were the lift (in singular, because even though there were 2, one of them was out of order), that took forever to be available, and the room windows, which weren't tight enough so they let through a cold breeze constantly (we kind of "fixed" that by closing first and then and lifting the curtains, so that the radiators underneath the windows would still warm the room).
Also, we asked for a cot and instead of a mattress it had a folded duvet, but, surprisingly enough, our baby loved it and slept wonderfully on it.
