Friendly, clean, inexpensive

My daughter and I were in Monroeville for the evening and didn't expect to have to stay but due to a bad storm we did. I wanted someplace safe and cheap. It was an older motel but clean and felt safe. The owners are on premises. Don't know if it's true butt I also read that was the motel that Gregory Peck stayed when he visited Monroeville before filming To Kill A Mockingbird. I would stay there again.

Charming on a budget

Stopped by Monroeville to check out the literary capital and loved my stay in this humble inn. It is a short stroll into town and a few blocks down from where Harper Lee used to live. The owners are incredibly kind, hospitable and helpful and are happy to have a chat, which is rare in this kind of establishment. The rooms are simple but have everything you need - coffee and tea facilities, a mini fridge, aircon, tv, wifi, microwave etc. Would easily stay here again!
