Overview

This ultra-luxury hotel, part of the Cheval Blanc Collection, features two-bedroom villas that are perfect for families. The 1,586-square-foot villas feature two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (one a king, one with two twins), as well as a full kitchen, living space, and outdoor space that includes a private swimming pool. The villas can accommodate up to six. Another great option are one-bedroom garden bungalows, which offer interconnecting room options to accommodate four to six people. Two-bedroom suites are also available.

The hotel provides babysitters to entertain little ones, and its beachfront location means plenty of water fun, including water skiing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, sailing and more. The hotel also provides tennis, volleyball, soccer, rugby, archery and a fitness center. Onsite dining is available at La Case de l’Isle’s al fresco, along with a covered restaurant, as well as lunch outdoors at La Cabane de l’Isle.

Excellent beach resort

by stroudy

This is a great beach hotel - excellent pool scene, beach setup and very good restaurant. Service is of a high standard and the rooms are extremely well appointed.

Overall very happy and we will be returning

Specifics:

Location: Secluded location on one of the best beaches on the island. The bay itself is very pretty with powdery sand and clear water. Worth mentioning that the waves can sometimes be quite strong, although usually swimmable even to a moderate level swimmer

Rooms: We had a tropical room which was the entry level but was great for what we needed. The rooms are decorated in largely neutral colours, off-whites, light greys, accented with some pastel blue and pink colourings here and there. There is a large balcony which overlooks the gardens of the property and a very well appointed bathroom. You do have a neighbour in these rooms which didn’t bother us at all but may some

Service: Overall was excellent - the staff are mainly from France, and highly trained and as a consequence we found the service a step above other high end resorts in the Caribbean. Rooms were serviced twice daily and gifts were left most nights from Candles to food and others

Pool Area: Generally great - the pool is not huge but has panoramic views over the beach, and drinks service is on point. There is music around the pool, which we liked but others may not

Food: breakfast and lunch were outstanding, very high quality produce used and service also good. The view from the restaurant over the bay is also excellent. Dinner was a bit more mixed, there were some outstanding dishes like the lobster and others that felt more average. The hotel tries to provide a fine dining service for dinner and sometimes that worked and sometimes it felt like they were trying to be a bit too ambitious

Other: Concierge was excellent and helped with everything from arranging babysitters to book restaurants for us.

Amazing visit

Cheval Blanc on St-Barth is a must stay. The island is so tranquil, the waters are so warm and colorful and Cheval Blanc is exceptional. The lodging itself is perfect and the staff was on-point and very accommodating. it is nicely set up to host families or just a romantic stay for two. I love its signature Guerlain smell as well. The cuisine was fresh and very French. Loved it all!
