My husband and I stayed here for one night when we attended a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but the price, location, amenities, and service are perfect.
We stayed in a double queen room complete with a sitting area, kitchenette, and dining table.
The hotel has a sitting area in the lobby with a business center. There is a sundry/snack shop next to check-in. Meeting rooms are located on the mezzanine level. The 1st floor has a nicely appointed fitness center. Breakfast is from 6am to 9am on the 8th floor.
Breakfast includes a variety of dry cereals, pastries, fresh cut fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, egg whites, fried potatoes, pancakes, coffee, a variety of juices, etc. there is a view of the Washington Monument from the breakfast area.
There are 3 efficient elevators and an attached parking garage. Parking costs $15 per night whether you park outside in front of the hotel or choose the garage. Each room also has a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and a safe.
We would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in a suite room which came with a large bed room and a drawing room with kitchen facilities (Microwave, stove, large fridge, essential utensils and crookery for three people. It has pay as you use laundry facilities. Room was well appointed, clean, and bed was quite comfortable. Place is quite. It is located close to a metro station and has good restaurants nearby. Hotel has to restaurant. On 8th floor there is place for breakfast (included for me) which also serves free dinner on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Both breakfast and dinner were simple but good. Hotel is also quite close to the National domestic airport.
