My wife and I stayed here for one evening. Parking was ample, staff was friendly, and our room on the second floor was clean and comfortable. Lighting was adequate and our bed was comfortable for a good night's rest. Competitively priced.
We usually stay in this area traveling between Florida and Texas. Our second stay here. Great service, check in and check out. Typical average quality of room and service, clean, with great variety of food for breakfast. Decent biscuits and gravy, our usual breakfast when we stay at a hotel with a buffet breakfast. Sticky carpets, perhaps the shampoo they use. But it does seem to stick to bare feet and cause dirty feet. Common for cheaper hotels on the gulf and ocean. Decent sized room, but awkward placement of furniture. The desk and chair is at the end of the bed, and we think it would be a better arrangement to switch it with the TV to allow more room to get around the end of the bed. Hopefully the chair has been replaced as I made a complaint about the arm being broken. What is left of the arm is sharp, and tore a hole in the bottom of my cover up (my favorite one too!) It could be dangerous and cut you. Room #153.
