Great position, nice outside bar, bad rooms, unhelpful staff.

A very mixed place. It is in a good position high on the hill & the outdoor terrace is great at the end of the day. Food is good but actually getting it in the busy, under-staffed, complex restaurant is a challenge. Rooms are tiny, dated & tatty. Included is the "full area pass" but what they don't tell you is it's actually a unique Club-Med pass doesn't allow you over to Les Arcs. To get there you have to go back over 2 lifts & runs, buy an upgrade from Les Coches & go all the way back. Finally, & I don't say this lightly as Francophiles, but the whole place is uncomfortably biased toward the French customers. The kids club is almost entirely in French (despite Club Med saying stating it was an English club), the English kids were simply left out of the events & all the songs & games were French. At the bar it became a running joke that the French were given 2 or 3 times as much to drink & had more choice. Our 4 year old can't eat milk & upon booking we were told that the restaurant would be aware. The policy at the hotel was "ask the staff", but most didn't speak English or even understand & when explained in French. There was a wide variety of food but they had no idea of allergens. We requested to be added to a party of Vegans that had paid more for different food, if they hadn't been there it would have been chips & burgers for every meal. The hotel is being upgraded for the 2020 season but if they don't change the staff I'd go somewhere else. Very disappointing.

From the start we were extremely impressed by Club Med Aime La Plagne and enjoyed every aspect of our holiday.
On arriving at Geneva Airport, we were met with a taxi transfer straight to the resort and even arrived at the hotel in time for lunch and an afternoon's skiing.

The rooms are small as is to be expected in the Alps but considering how little time you spend inside them, this does not matter in the slightest.

Bruno was amazing throughout the week and looked after us attentively and really made our holiday that little bit more special. We were also impressed by the Chef de Village, omnipresent and very welcoming to the club.

We enjoyed our ski guiding with Joel and were taken to stunning off-piste all around the resort which would have been otherwise unreachable without a guide.

The only slight negative overall was being dropped at Geneva Airport over 4 hours early for our flight home. The Club has a policy that guests leave for their flights 6 hours before the flight's departure time which unfortunately leads to quite a bit of sitting around - though this is a very minor point.
