Overview

Club Med’s all-inclusive Bodrum resort gives guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of the Mediterranean. Families can visit the ruins of Ephese, the hot springs of Pamukkale, and the archeological museum at Hierapolis. All three landmarks are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Terrasse and the Halikarnas consistently receive rave reviews for their food and atmosphere. Both restaurants feature outdoor seating areas with panoramic views of the shimmering blue bay. Families staying at the Bodrum should opt for the Deluxe rooms. The rooms are spacious enough for an entire family and provide balconies with views of the ocean.

VERY Disappointing

by 695jillyb

I have been going to CM since I was a small child and this resort over 15 times, it used to be superb but this year it was truly awful; not sure if it is because the ownership has changed? The Chef du Village was aloof and when I complained that my friend had received a free upgrade on her room but I hadn't (especially annoying given how many friends I have recommended to CM), he could not have cared less and despite saying he would get back to me, he did not, in fact he then avoided me, not very professional. The shows are ghastly, they are no longer well choreographed, just untidy and done with no enthusiasm (this could just be because of the lack of motivation from the Chef du Village?) - there were two that were good but they were entertainers from outside of the village not done by the GO's. The food was as always totally delicious. The spa offer very nice massages but have become too expensive so it looked like business was slow and I certainly had fewer because of it. The sailing format has changed and the GO's are reluctant to take you out on a catamaran for the experience, you need to be competent and into the 'regattas' to be of any interest to them. My friend enjoyed the yoga and other fitness classes and spoke highly of the GO that ran these. It is with regret that I am unlikely to return to Club Med given this unpleasant last holiday.

Bodrum-The anticlimax

This paradisal location is highly recommended if you are looking for R and R deluxe.
I suggest you go with a good group of equally high-spirited friends. The fish is delicious but the shows and service are probablybetter earlier in the year.
