Reviews

fantastic first experience wit Clubmed

by Dominique F

That was outstanding, Older club in need of general upgrades to the rooms, but cleanliness and service were excellent, the charm of this club is outstanding, it was very truly described to us as 'a club with a soul' and how true!
The enjoyment was total, awesome and above expectations!

Spectacular “Energia”

Club med Itaparica combines the best qualities of two worlds: all inclusive worry/hassle free resort of international standards with the Brazilian (and more so Baiano) energy and welcoming warmth.

It is true the facilities are a little old and the AC in rooms may not be the most effective. It’s to be expected since it’s been running 40yrs and it’s officially the first resort built
In Brazil. But that’s very little compared to everything the charming place and it’s G.O. team offer.

Activities for every part of the day and night, ranging from beach volleyball, to sailing to swinging from a circus trapeze to just good spirited group dancing to classic energetic tunes. Good food available at almost any time. An amazing energy emanating from the team (I’ve been to other club meds and never have I seen a GO team that I liked this much). All this and more contribute to an unforgettable week.

An especially honorable mention: I was there for Christmas week and for Christmas Eve dinner there was all you can eat lobster tails, wonderfully cooked, available to all guests. I had never seen that before.

Special shoutout to (in no particular order): Tavares (sailing), Gabriel (bow and arrow), Jacque (circus), Caio (sports chief / yoga), Andre (circus), Kevin (circus), Johnny (Chef de Village), Vincent (Chef d’Hotel)
