Very disappointing

by N1708ALandrear

Very disappointing from arrival late on Friday night. Lady at reception made us feel like an imposition. Despite having 2 children nothing about facilities or children’s activities were explained.

When we woke up on first morning we saw extensive fungus all over the wall the toilet was against. (See attached) the service man told us it was from leaking toilet.. 2 of us felt sick from the damp and the sight was disgusting.

Unfortunately reception staff are less than helpful.. I asked a senior male receptionist today for details of shopping and once he saw Aline the guest services young member of staff he pawned the request off on her. This guest services member of staff is a shining star in a very turbulent sky and wasted working with these bunch of disinterested , bored and rude individuals .

Staff in main bar are fine and the lifeguards and cleaning staff really pleasant. The grounds Are truly beautiful as is the location and views but the attitude of front of house sucks.

A really special holiday experience

We have just returned from an incredibly fun 9 days in this Club Med. Yes, the resort is a little tired looking in places and could do with a little more attention to maintenance on pathways but, if perfection of accommodation is what your looking for instead of a really great time, then perhaps this club is not for you.

We have three children, two were in the Petit Club and one in the Baby Club. We couldn't say more about the G.Os that made up the Baby and Petit Club team. Compared to last year, they raised the bar with activities and spectacles for the kiddies. Paillette in the Baby Club was just so gorgeous and was like a second mother to my 6 month old. She clearly knows babies and on a couple of occasions displayed her knowledge to put me at ease.

Enzo and the rest of the team in the Petit Club and Benoit and Didou were outstanding. The set up for different events every afternoon was mammoth. The kids were spellbound. As a result, we didn't feel as guilty for putting the kiddies into the clubs all day.

Maxou was simply brilliant! A great organizer but also exceptionally personable and fun.

The Mini and Petit Club show at the end of the week was outstanding. The team are very, very talented and have the most wonderful way with the kids. It was a joy to watch.

The CREACTIVE team in Opio is very unique and special. They are the most incredible group of teachers and also performers. Diogo, Sasha, Thomas and Tom Jess and Jess were inspiring and they push you out of your comfort zone, but within your limits.

This was a truly special holiday, made so more by the energy and kindness of the G.Os.
