Yasmine was fantastic

by FellowTraveler298715

This was our second trip to a Club Med resort. Our first was Palmiye in Turkey. We loved both. They are different resorts and part of the fun is trying different things, seeing different ways of having fun, meeting different GOs. The GOs were uniformly fun and interesting and engaged, but we particularly liked the Water Sports team. They showed us a great time. The food was terrific (and Labre and Abdelsalam took great care of us). It was fun to be able to take a half-day trip and see some of the country rather than just staying on the resort the whole time. It is fair to say that it is harder to get along here without any French language skills compared to Palmiye, but the country’s national language is French and fair enough - it was never a problem, it just took a bit of figuring out some of the time. If having a laugh trying to convey a concept in a foreign language once in a while is a problem, then this isn’t the right holiday for you in any event. We loved it and will definitely visit another Club Med.

Nice resort shame about the mist

by SpikeF44

A pleasant friendly resort just by the Straits of Gibraltar. Nice food, staff attentive. However, the weather lets it down in early September with a persistent mist which prevents participation in water sports. Not a great resort for physically challenged guests - spread out with a lot of steps
