Girls Trip

While the boys went away fishing, 5 of us girls decided to have a girls trip. Decided on Ganonoque, couldn't have booked a better place than Colonial Resort & Spa. It was there last weekend they were opened for the season. The girls that run the place (sorry I forgot your names) could not be better hosts.

The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood, grounds are beautiful, rooms very clean. We booked 2 rooms pool side, even though pool of course closed for season, but they have a really nice indoor pool, with a indoor garden center to sit at looking into pool area. The only little complaint we had was breakfast could have been served a little past 9, 10 would have been great. We love relaxing in our rooms with coffee before we get going, but that is just us.

Would love to come back again, with my husband, please if you are reading this, the owners of this lovely place, could you open in April so we can come for our anniversary, lol.

The group really enjoyed their 2 night stay. Took the trip to Ottawa tulip festival and the 1000 island cruise. Breakfast was excellent. And so was the staff. We were all satisfied with our rooms. Michelle and Jean were excellent hosts and helped us a lot making up the trip. We will go back again. Thanks ladies.
