Regrettable!!

BEWARE: ‘THE GANANOQUE INN’…NEW OWNERS (Within the last 3-4yrs)
This once lovely Inn is now unbelievably RUN DOWN. We visited 6yrs ago and experienced one of our most memorable trips ever. NOT NOW. We Booked two nights mid-Sept of this year. WE chose the Inn because a close friend was performing at a venue next door. We will never return again! We spoke to several others. They felt the same.
An American couple who had visited the Inn on five separate occasions in the past will definitely not visit this establishment again.
We spoke with a young server who was in tears knowing that she among others will be reprimanded for all that went wrong that weekend. Not one of the owners was there to assist with the 120 wedding guests and other guests who filled the Inn that weekend. Don’t let this discourage you from visiting Gananoque, It’s a great spot to visit.
Apparently the owners don’t work weekends.

Run down

by Joanne H

Been coming for a few years but this year it seems the place is terribly run down, dirty, and not worth the money. New ownership and its not worth the price to stay. No hot water, spider webs in room, dirty hall rugs, in need of paint everywhere, rundown bathrooms, windows broken in room. it was a Sunday when we checked in and Dining room closed. Would not advise anyone to stay, This place needs millions to get it up to speed again. Location is nice hope the new owners invest in it.
