Located just five miles from Downtown Fort Worth and Sundance Square, the Courtyard by Marriott gives you convenient access to the zoo, the Hulen Mall, Fort Worth’s famous Stockyards, several museums, and more than 100 restaurants within walking distance. All rooms feature 36-inch HDTVs, refrigerators, coffee makers, and hairdryers. All rooms are non-smoking and include free wireless Internet for guests’ convenience.

Although free breakfast is not offered, an all-day onsite restaurant features cooked to order food for all three meals. In addition, there’s a 24-hour Starbucks for your caffeine and pastry fix, and (if adults can steal some time to themselves) a bar with daily happy hour specials.

While onsite, families enjoy swimming in the indoor pool, relaxing in the hot tub, getting their heart rate up at the fitness center, testing their swing arms at the five-hole golfing green, roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit, and wandering around the ponds on the grounds.

Reviews

Nice and well located

by jrbgttiger

We stayed the weekend. Check in was simple and staff was friendly. The hotel was close to decent restaurants and with 10-15 minutes from TCU, shopping, and downtown (if you know how to navigate).
The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The tub didn’t drain well and only had one mirror in the room. Not sure why, but the outside fire pit was not available and it was too chilly to sit outside without it.
Will return to Ft. Worth, but may stay elsewhere, although we won’t scratch this place off our list.

Just so you know - the hotel does not have a liquor license and does not have a full bar

I stay at hotels in Fort Worth all the time. I planned a group trip to stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we discovered that the bar had not renewed its liquor license so could not sell us any drinks. Now, we were told that we could tip the server and they would give away red wine or a specific cocktail for free. This was such a huge disappointment for our group. You would think they would have notified our group to advise that the bar was not in full swing. Hotel is nothing special so I would recommend looking elsewhere. I know I will.
