Overview

This Hyatt Place is located in the Cityview area about seven miles of downtown, so it’s a little quieter than heart-of-the-city hotels but still convenient. Recent renovations mean that all rooms are up to date, stylish, and clean, with comfortable new bedding and plush carpeting. It’s only five miles from the cultural district and close to the airport, so it makes a good option for families who want to stay in a central location.

The best room option for families is probably the two double bed room, which adds a sofa sleeper in a partially private “cozy corner” living area. Stay connected thanks to the hotel’s free wireless internet, stay clean with the luxury skin and hair care amenities in the bathroom, and stay caffeinated by brewing a cup in the single-serve coffee maker. You’ll also be able to keep beverages cold in the mini-fridge, but note that they do not provide a microwave.

Start the day with the hotel’s trademark Kitchen Skillet breakfast, which features a rotating selection of breakfast sandwiches, freshly baked pastries and bread, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and more. When hunger strikes for the rest of the day, order from the 24/7 Gallery Menu, where you’ll find appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, flatbreads, and even pizza.

Large rooms with awful beds!

by 2bugs2019

Large very clean rooms with awful small beds and lumpy flat pillows. No free breakfast unless you book through World of Hyatt! And they are sticklers about that... even if you join the World of Hyatt, if you don't book through them you won't get the free breakfast. The breakfast was terrible anyways. The shower area is so tiny that the door almost hits the shower curtain. Don't get me started on the 1 elevator that barely worked all weekend. Not worth the price...The Fairfield Inn Cityview was so much nicer and friendly.

Loved the room layout for rest and work. Very clean. People were great. Close to dining opportunities and snacks available at the bar were different and very good. Baked brie, chips and salsa plate, salads. Breakfast was very good.
