Clinton Presidential Center, the six-floor, 116-room property features an indoor pool, onsite dining and a small outdoor courtyard with seating and a fire pit. Four 600-square-foot, two-room suites are available and offer a private bedroom with a king bed and a living area with a sofa bed. Grimey

by setraveler95

This value hotel is long overdue for a refresh. However, if you like grimey carpet, dirty walls, filthy shower curtains, zero ventilation in the restroom, hot lobby, no plugs by the bed, battered scorching hot elevators - stay here. I won’t be back.

Great staff, convenient location

I love the Courtyard for a lot of reasons. They are always friendly. I made a last-minute reservation over the phone and was able to talk to the same staff member two hours later and she remembered me. Very easy check-in with plenty of helpful information.

I find the rooms to be generally clean and in good condition. Starbucks coffee is available to brew in-room and there's plenty of space as well as a nice lounging couch. The bed was a bit stiff for me and I'm not a fan of down pillows.

The lobby area is contemporary and comfortable and the wi-fi is fast. I particularly like that there was a small coin-operated laundry room at this location and free soap and dryer sheets available at the front desk. I was able to do laundry quickly after a delay in my travel schedule.

I really like the filtered water stations and bagged ice. It's a great way to ensure people are being environmentally friendly (glass carafe in the room) and still have safe drinking water without noisy machines running day and night.

The cafe can get quite busy in the morning and the single staffer behind the counter got backed up as the morning business rush waited for coffee and meals. They had a second person come over from the front desk but by that point many of us were already running late.

This location is close to a lot of great attractions, including the River Market, the President Clinton Library and numerous eateries, bars and restaurants. Damgood Pies has free trivia and cheap beer on Thursday nights, and decent pies. You can get around the area using Lime scooters which make it even more convenient to explore that part of the city and the river walkway.
