We were there three days and enjoyed every minute. Great staff everywhere!
From check in through the dining area and house keeping & check out I honestly think this Marriott partner has the shining star-staff!
Super handy to much of downtown like a market right along the street one day!
We spent two nights here as a beginning point to two weeks of travel. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Great location to shopping and restaurants. We've stayed here before and will stay again. Fast and friendly check-in and check-out!
The indoor pool, which was renovated in 2014, can be found on the second floor. A separate kiddie pool is also available with a 1-and-half-foot depth. Pool noodles and kid-size life vests are also available. The pool is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and there are no lifeguards on duty. Chairs surround the pool deck and pool towels are provided. A sauna, hot tub and a changing room can also be found just off the pool.
Kids will be excited when they first enter the guestroom to find a little package waiting for them (make sure to inform the hotel you will have children with you). A sand bucket and shovel, beach towel and mat, other small toys and very creative towel art animals is a great welcome for any kid arriving at the hotel.
This helpful concierge desk is located in the center of the lobby and can assist families in booking tours, shows, golf tee times or activities while visiting the island.
A sandy beach is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. Families will need to drive to the beach, but the kids will be ready to go with their new bucket and shovel.
This upscale, yet casual restaurant and bar located in the hotel lobby serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and kids under 7 years old eat free off the kids' menu. Along with a kids' activity sheet and coloring book, a crudité sample will arrive for the kids at the table to promote healthy eating and keep little ones occupied before the meal arrives.
Along with impeccable food, the staff at Water's Edge definitely go the extra mile to accommodate guest needs. Be sure to tell the staff if there is an allergy at the table because the chef will make sure to personally visit your table to discuss your specific needs in food preparation. He will then personally prepare the meal and serve you the dish himself, all to ensure your dietary needs are met.
If the kids are getting a bit antsy at the table and the kitchen is not entirely overwhelmed, the staff may ask if your family would enjoy a quick tour of the kitchen. Kids (and parents) will love the behind-the-scenes tour of how the kitchen works, and of course a stop at the lobster tank is always fun too.
The hot breakfast buffet runs from about 6:30 to 11 a.m. During winter events or breaks from school, Water's Edge features a character breakfast for kids, too. Lunch and dinner follow, along with a bar and food service menu until about 11 p.m.
In-room dining is always available from Water's Edge, where the motto is "our kitchen is your kitchen."
This outdoor restaurant is situated slightly off the hotel property, but is owned and operated by the hotel. Kids will love the lawn games and picnic tables situated in a large grassy area that overlooks the wharf. The casual dining spot also features indoor seating and heat lamps if needed. Lunch and dinner are available at Brakish from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Art of Smart Timing
The Delta Prince Edward Hotel is open year-round and can be busy most of the year. But peak tourist season is July and August.
The hotel is located in downtown Charlottetown, which is situated in the center of Prince Edward Island and about 10 minutes from the Charlottetown Airport. The town of Cavendish, which is located on the north shore of the island, is about 40 minutes away from the hotel and Confederation Bridge is about 50 minutes away.
Because of Delta Prince Edward's optimum downtown Charlottetown location, families will find it convenient to park at the hotel and walk to many restaurants, shops and downtown attractions. However, if you plan to venture to other ends of PEI, a vehicle is needed. Conveniently, a car rental desk is located onsite.
For Mom and Dad
Adults will love some relaxation and pampering time at the onsite spa. Massages, facial and other body treatments are available, as well as manicures and hair styling.
