Overview

These 46 cedar cabins are nestled in the trees just off the Parks Highway near Denali National Park. The cabins are small, but comfortable for a family of four. If you need more space, ask about the one and only Family Cabin, which features two double beds and a full futon in the separate sitting area. It also includes a refrigerator, microwave and an outdoor deck. The quiet location is enhanced with plentiful picnic tables and walking trails. At the end of a tiring day, the whole family will enjoy sitting under the stars in the outdoor hot tubs. Other cabin amenities include satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. There’s no free breakfast, but a hearty buffet is available each morning at the onsite eatery, Prey Bar and Eatery, which serves up traditional pub food with an Alaskan twist.

Many of Denali’s top attractions are within a short distance of your cabin. A free shuttle runs from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day, whisking you 10 miles north to the Denali Visitor Center, the Denali Train Depot, and to local resorts and shopping centers. The Denali Cabins offers its very own full-day bus tour, the Denali Backcountry Adventure, that takes you down the 92-mile park access road to look for bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep and other wildlife. The tour includes a stop at Moose Creek, deep inside the park, where you can pan for gold, take a short hike and enjoy a buffet lunch. For a taste of Alaska cabin life in a breathtaking location, the Denali Cabins will go a long way to making your family vacation a memorable time.

Reviews

Best place in town!

Cheaper than staying near park entrance, nice clean friendly, hot tubs, best food next door, free shuttle to park, motorcoach pick up location, just the best location outside of village. I highly recommend the Denali Cabins!

Isolated

Free Wifi. The wooden cabins are isolated and quiet, small but comfortable. Room 184 had a comfortable double bed, tiny bathroom with shower cubicle, sink in bedroom, TV, table and chair. There is a small restaurant with good quality reasonably priced food although half the menu not available the 1st evening and a couple of choices the 2nd evening. Staff friendly and helpful with a good choice of food for breakfast which was well cooked.
