Guests can enjoy ocean views from the balconies of the resort’s one-, two-, or three-bedroom condos, which are available to rent nightly or weekly. The full kitchen and washer and dryer give guests all the conveniences of home. There are lots of daily poolside activities including a kid’s digital scavenger hunt.

This is a great resort right on the beach with a beach view for every unit. No problem with parking
at this time of year which is in a ground level parking deck under tennis courts. Staff is very helpful
and courteous. There is a small theater, arcade, and fitness center in the resort. Everything was
well maintained or new (courts resurfaced recently). Small restaurant in resort was good and not
pricey. Lots of other local restaurants nearby, some very good, some average. Be sure to check
reviews before making selections. Two we liked were FLA Seafood Grill & Salsas. The space center and a few other attractions nearby. Disney World is further away, but do-able for a long day. Our unit was spacious. Everything worked, no bugs and beds were comfy. (Did not use
the hide-a-bed so do not know about that.) Toilets and drains worked fine. Two elevators worked
fine. No sales people hassled us. We never saw or were approached by a sales person. We would recommend this resort.
In March of 2018, as we were disembarking a cruise ship, my father collapsed. He was ambulanced to the local hospital and we found ourselves in immediate need of lodging for a few days. Discovery Beach Resort was so kind to us and was able to meet our lodging needs. The suite was quite nice with several rooms and a full kitchen. The views out the large glass windows were amazing. It was a great place to calm my mind watching the sunrise while my father was recovering down the street.
