Overview

The flagship Marriott property is essentially on campus, tucked behind a cluster of shops and restaurants on the other side of Grand River Avenue from Michigan State University. You are steps away from the school, stadiums, Beaumont Tower, bookstore and Breslin Center making this Marriott a terrific choose if visiting from out of town for a Spartans sporting event. Rooms feature either a king or two doubles and while breakfast isn’t included, there are special rates which come with a full morning meal for two adults and two children. After a day of Spartan adventure, return to the hotel for a dip in the pool or a stint in the sauna. Feel free to order room service, connect your phone to the docking station for a family dance party or unwind in front of the 42-inch flat screen TV. Note that the Wi-Fi and parking are available for fee.

MBA Roundtable Symposium

Excellent accommodations. Free airport shuttle service. They will pay for a taxi if the hotel’s shuttle is tied up or otherwise unavailable. Also, food and service in hotel cafe and bar is good. MSU’s campus is within walking distance.

Very Nice, no mini fridge

It was a nice hotel, close to bars, restaurants and a CVS. Parking garage was cheaper than most hotels downtown (at least in other cities) Woman at front desk to check in was very nice and prompt check in. Rooms were clean. I didn't check out any amenities. We were there 2 nights for a wrestling meet. The lounge in the lobby looked very nice but we didn't stop in. My only disappointment was that there is not mini fridge. I had bought drinks at the CVS across the street because the vending doesn't sell Diet Coke and had to put them in the ice bucket to keep and that wasn't big enough.
