Few Days Stay

by 511paty

We like to stay here since it is a pet friendly hotel. Nothing special but nice and clean. Hot breakfast but again nothing special... just eggs and biscuits and gravy. Close to all attractions and off the busy roads. Keep a map of alternate routes so you don't get stuck in traffic. Friendly staff and helpful

Not As Good as in the Past

by TravelerKansas

I have been a frequent guest at this location for several years, and have stayed 15-20 nights within the last 12 months the most recent nights being September 1, and September 20. It has historically been an exceptional quality for this brand, until a series of recent management changes. While I would not say that it is particularly bad, the quality of housekeeping, breakfast, an general upkeep is not to the high standards in the past. They used to have an outstanding breakfast, but it is not well prepared or maintained in comparison. For some time, I have received a frequent guest rate, and on my most recent stay, the rate was $10 higher than on September 1 (of Labor Day weekend). When I questioned this, they said it was due to being busier. Interestingly, it appeared to be very few people staying at the hotel that night, but on September 1, there was a no vacancy sign posted on the door. The room I received at the higher rate was not well-prepared, and was not the room type I was promised. When I brought this to the assistant manager's attention, she apologized but offered nothing more.
