I stayed here over the weekend. It was inexpensive and in a pretty good location. Pretty clean. A little run down, but I was not unhappy with the room. I have a dog and it was a pet friendly location. Walls are VERY thin and you can hear everything. It was okay, because my neighbors were pretty quiet. However, I was relatively shocked when, in the middle of the afternoon, a black pickup drove in and dropped off a woman. She was obviously a prostitute. Fortunately, the man who hired her was staying in a room away from mine so I didn’t have to hear them, but an elderly couple were unfortunately right next to them. The hotel needs to crack down on this as should the local authorities. I love Freeport, and didn’t realize they have a huge prostitution problem. I won’t stay here again, and I’m not sure I’d be too excited to even stay in Freeport again. It’s a beautiful little town with a nasty little secret. Pay the extra money and stay in a better location unless you want to be exposed to prostitutes.
