The Econo Lodge Gadsden is a great pet-friendly hotel for families on the go. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they can still easily fit a family of three plus the family dog, so long as it weighs less than 50 pounds. Each room comes equipped with a microwave and coffee maker, and they all have access to high speed Wi-Fi that is offered at no extra cost to guests. The outdoor pool is a great way for kids to cool off from the Alabama heat, and breakfast is offered to all guests, regardless of age.

Room was nice. However, barking dogs were terrible!

The room was nothing fancy; it was clean and smelled clean. We had booked it for two nights. However, the dogs barking all night was more than we could take. Oh, and some time in the night, someone tried to enter our room. Fortunately, my husband made sure that all the locks were locked. That was it.

Roaches

Stopped for the night on the way back from the beach. Walked into a room that was 100 degrees and found a roach right off the bat. Went to the front desk and the lady didn’t even act surprised. Gave me my money back immediately and we moved on to the Days Inn.
