Here are the facts. We flew to TN and rented a car and then checked in to Econo Lodge. We were there 4 nights and I started getting bit the first night. I didn't know right away it was bed bugs. I ended up with over 30 bites. I went to my doctor when I got home and he confirmed it was bed bugs. I contacted the manager and he told me other people had stayed in that room and had not had a problem. We learned a lot about bed bugs. The bites show up anywhere between 3 hours and up to 2 weeks after you get them. I had a reaction to them which required antibiotics. My husband's bites (~30) showed up after we got home. We believe we should get a full refund but all the manager would give us was a partial refund. We are not happy . We lost sleep because of the itching, We had no bites before our trip and no bites since we got home so we are absolutely certain we got them at this hotel.
Any hotel can get bed bugs and it doesn't mean it's a dirty place. But they rented that room after I told them about the bugs. The manager denies there were any bed bugs in our room, but we have lots of proof. Photos are attached.

The room was clean and quiet, at the back of the hotel there is a cute little patio with tables and chairs where you can sit and watch the river and if you are lucky you can even see some wildlife. The parking spaces are rally small and close, and the continental breakfast was okay but nothing outstanding. This is a budget motel and if you are just looking for a place downtown to stay while you walk around the downtown area it will definitely fill the bill. Nothing fancy but not too expensive either.
