A small and intimate hotel with just 27 rooms, El Dorado provides a Spanish-inspired oasis in Sonoma County’s wine region. Guests of the hotel can enjoy an outdoor, heated saltwater swimming pool and onsite dining at the El Dorado Kitchen, which provides indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, tea, coffee and reusable water bottles. Rooms at the hotel include flat-screen TVs, Bluetooth systems and décor from Restoration Hardware. Rooms are available in king, queen or two double beds, some with patios or balconies. Because rooms are smaller in size, families need to book the double rooms or have older teens who can have their own room, as rooms for four are limited.

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel
before. The rooms are well appointed except for the headboard. The room doesn’t have a chair for tv watching so you watch from bed but you need to have a few pillows as the headboard is uncomfortable but otherwise a lovely room which I think was recently renovated. Parking available but lot not too big (we were lucky to find a spot). We didn’t eat at the hotel but noticed lots of folks did.

Location was everything. We walked to everything. Loved the details and updates to add old world flair. The room was good. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a little small. Pool area was cute. And dinning was fantastic. Loved our breakfast there. The staff was helpful in finding good wineries in the area as well.
