Dying at end of season!

We arrived in the middle of the night on a full coach of TUI guests, only one person checking us in and charging us for the tourist tax of £64.48 for two people, not mentioned when I booked the hotel neither was the building site at the rear, 12 hours of daily noise.

WiFi was very poor, TUI rep said paid wifi at 10e per day was very poor.

We took our after dinner drinks into the entertainment room only to have them taken off us and poured into plastic cups. Drinks glasses could not be taken to the bedrooms either. No UK TV!

Exterior of hotel was devastated by a tornado! Staff worked hard to rectify the damage.

Tui rep said the local bus was hourly, not quite check the bus times if you go, don't listen to the reps.

Two out of the three lifts were out of action, the third one was also often not working.

It was sad to see OAPs sat on the staircase resting as they climbed to the 7th floor!

We told the hotel we would be arriving late and they said there would be food and drinks in our room, no sign of food or drink, good job we took our own kettle, tea & coffee etc.

When it was windy the wind whistled through the balcony door. Cold food and plates, when they got the food right it was very good, chicken thighs and drumsticks with different sauces on each day. Puds more or less the same each meal time.

I will not visit a Palladium group hotel ever again!

Good luck to you if you decide to go.
