It is probably pretty typical for a New York hotel and room. The lobby is small and cramped. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. For 2 people it was a bit tight. The shower was all black which made the small bathroom seem even smaller. I guess black hides mold well if there is any? The bed was comfortable though and all employees except for one were super friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good rate. I also thought the location was very good because it is so close to 2 different subway lines.
I don’t really have any complaints. The room is small but it’s NY. It is expected. For the size of the room, they did pretty well. The beds are extremely comfortable. Service was good all around. Exceptional staff. There are minor improvements that can be made i.e. I went to the gym three times and most of the time there were no towels or there were temperature issues. Sometimes the staff was a little slow to respond. Overall, it didn’t change the experience too much. I would have liked if there was a microwave in the room. There is one in the basement, as well as a filtered water machine in the basement. I would stay again for the reliable service and excellent location.
