Overall excellent but the staff in the restaurant and pool entry need to have a more posative additude towards their guests. The hot springs are excellent. Make sure to give your family a couple days to adjust to the elevation and drink extra water.

This is a wonderful stopping place for families and friends. It's nice, but not elegant. The staff is friendly, and the price is appropriate when one considers that it includes day of and day after pool entrance as well as a full breakfast. You can begin using the pool any time during your first day and leave any time on your last. No fuss, just get checked in at the hotel even if your room isn't ready. While you check in at the front of the pool to use the pool, you can return to the hotel via steps going up to save a little time at the end of your soak. Members of your group can come and go to the pools at their own convenience without a car. It does involve steps, so anyone with mobility issues might drive down to the pools below.
Glenwood is its own kind of hot springs, big soaking pool with an enormous play/swimming pool. There's room for all, but it is not a quiet pool in the woods. If that is the experience you are looking for, you might check out Avalanche Ranch which is in the same vicinity though not in Glenwood.
