Mountain side relaxation

by M M

Been going to GL Peak 7 for 6 years now as owner and guest and absolutely love it. Rooms are what I expect every time. The suite is similar to an Embassy Suites room and is just fine for us as a couple, while it can be tight for more than a couple for more than a couple of days.

The 1 bedrooms are awesome with plenty of space to spread out and a great kitchen area. The one bedrooms do have a lock off door to convert to a 2 bedroom and the dining table in the 1 bedroom is adjacent to that door, so noise between the rooms can be heard. Gotta remember you are at a resort which is typically sold out. Can’t expect it to be overly quiet. If that’s what you want, book the 2 bedroom or get a house in the woods. We prefer the 1 bedroom, primarily for the extra windows and outdoor patio.

As for the amenities, the pools, the grills, games and activities, as well as access to complimentary shuttle and gondola are outstanding. Love being able to make our own dinner by the pool and enjoy a S’More over the fire.

We have been very happy with the customer service from the reservation line to the front desk, and bar staff. One area of improvement/recommendation is to have increased frequency of staff visits to pool/tub area for food/Bev.

Much to offer here, in an amazing location to enjoy the outdoors. If you can’t enjoy yourself here, remember there are 3 fingers pointing back at yourself. Go take a walk on the trails next door, breathe in the mountain air and relax.

Excellent Service! Thanks Debby G.!

We have been owners at Grand Lodge for almost 10 years and have always enjoyed great service and beautiful facilities. But our most recent visit - this week - was really stellar! We had some confusing reservations (family in and out), activities we wanted to do, etc. We also need help from the front desk a couple of times and Debby G. was FABULOUS!! We had couple of questions and she spent quite a bit of time researching it for us, called us with the information and made our trip even better than usual!!
