Overview

This is a full-scale resort and casino; therefore, expect to find multiple restaurants, and tons of entertainment such as bowling and golf in addition to lots of evening shows, sometimes featuring very large names. Rooms come in lots of options from the standard king and double queen to deluxe suites, all available with varying amenities. This is a large hotel, and offers a wonderful location for Reno and access to the outdoor sports adventures. There’s plenty to do both onsite and offsite to keep your family busy for a couple of days. There’s also ski and golf packages available. The Grand Sierra Resort pool has shaded cabanas and a sandy volleyball court. Johnny Rockets, Port of Subs, Round Table Pizza and Yogurt Beach are convenient to poolside.

Loved it

by Sissy S

This was a great place for family. We had a lot of fun. Could do without the smoke, but I feel that is hard to make happen! The go carts were a blast. The restaurant variety was also very nice. Grand Sierra is fun for adults but also for children. The pool area is absolutely amazing.

GREAT place to stay & play

After a long day of driving around Tahoe & Parks .... ok, well, and the wine tasting at the winery in Truckee.... we made a snap decision to stop in Reno instead of heading further east. I hopped on this site & shopped for a hotel...
WOW ! Great Price for a Great Stay.
EASY access off I-80 ...
Check in is kinda weird - you leave your car in the car port/port-a-cochere and you feel like you’re wandering around a bit til you find the desk with the right person ....
BUT Terrence the Valet found us looking lost (I’m sure we both had THAT look of “lost tourist-please help”) and explained everything & took our luggage to the bell desk for us while we got checked in.
Once we got to our room, Cathie the Bellhop came up right behind us & helped us get settled in - including helping us find the ice machine and answering a ton of questions ! Really nice room, clean & nicely furnished (including a small fridge & bar/coffee area) GREAT staff - everyone from the security people to the desk staff & everyone in between were Nice AND Kind ❤️
Loved it so much, booked another trip specifically to go through there & already have our reservations made !!

(Just realized I forgot to take pics !! All I have is this View from our room)
