Overview

The newly renovated Hampton Inn & Suites Convention Center is located in the Arts & Warehouse District and within walking distance of the French Quarter, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, Audubon Aquarium of the Americans, IMAX theater, museums, shopping, dining and cultural and historic attractions. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, and an outdoor pool and courtyard. Free breakfast includes eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereals, and juices.

For accommodations, suites come with living areas, sleeper sofas, and some with full kitchens. Families will particularly like the king studio with a kitchenette, and the one-bedroom king and double bed suites with full kitchens.

Great location and nice propery

Stayed at this Hampton Inn for a conference in New Orleans Convention Center. It is the closest hotel for the convention center and in a good spot to walk to restaurants. About a mile to get to the quarter but still a manageable walk. Hotel has good breakfast buffet and a nice bar area. Rooms were clean and staff is very friendly.

I am a weekly traveler and stay at countless Hilton properties across the US. This by far is my favorite stay. The building is vintage and preserved...those hardwood floors in the lobby are to die for. The lobby and bar area are spotless. This continues into the guest rooms. I stayed in two different rooms at this location and both were in the warehouse portion of the hotel. Very well appointed rooms, CLEAN and tidy and very inviting. All this aside, the STAFF was INCREDIBLE. I had the pleasure of working with many of the front desk staff, but Kaila stands out. She was the epitome of who I like to interact with when I am staying at a hotel. Many thanks to her for taking such good care of me.
