The Hampton Inn & Suites Des Moines Downtown overlooks the Des Moines River and provides great accommodations for traveling families. Perks include an indoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast, not to mention a central location near attractions such as the Iowa Cubs Home Field.

Guestrooms are equipped with either one king bed or two queens, along with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Guests have the option to add a rollaway bed or crib to select units.

Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out is noon. Parking is available for a daily fee.

Good night's sleep for the price!

Excellent location! Lots to do and in close proximity to the property. Attentive and friendly staff! Management was very responsive to our group's needs. The rooms were nice! The complimentary bottled water was an added plus!

Nice room, location and breakfast

Good breakfast, nice room with sitting area and a good location. Everyone (the staff) was extremely friendly. Walking distance to downtown Des Moines sights and restaurants. I would certainly come again.
