Great stay

Check in was quick with friendly and helpful desk clerks. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do around Times Square and beyond. Clean room. Fast elevators. Appreciated the concierge who reserved a shuttle to Newark airport.

Great central location near Times Square and multiple theaters

I just returned from four nights at this Hampton Inn, and it was a very good experience. While the traffic could sometimes get a little noisy, the hotel is just far enough away from two major intersections to provide a respite from much of the outside hustle and bustle. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and nicely updated, and there were no stains or signs of wear on the furniture and bedding. The employees stood out for their friendliness; every time a member of the maintenance department was on the elevator, they greeted the other passengers, and several times I witnessed the breakfast staff cheerfully helping fulfill an individual request in the midst of very crowded dining room. While I did not use the services of the concierge, it was good to know that this was an option. During my visit it was quite cold outside, but the complimentary coffee/tea/hot water station in the lobby was always amply stocked and free from litter. These fine points can make all the difference to a busy traveler, and I greatly appreciate how well this hotel treated its guests.
