Located in downtown Fort Wayne, families will love the convenience of being able to walk to several downtown attractions. The Tincaps minor league baseball stadium is less than a 10-minute walk and the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is about 4 miles away. The Grand Wayne Convention Center is attached to this hotel by a Skywalk, which convention goers will find convenient. The spacious suites offer families plenty of room to spread out with a separate living room area.
The onsite restaurant is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner and the indoor swimming pool is a nice spot for families to hang out and play after a day of touring around Fort Wayne. Pets are welcome to stay here, and of course there is free Wi-Fi available.

There are 246 guestrooms and suites at this Hilton and cribs, rollaway beds and connecting rooms are available upon request. A keyless entry option is also available to guests and it's the first of its kind in Indiana. Guests use an app on their phone to unlock and enter their guestroom.
The guestrooms feature one king or two double beds, a microwave, mini-fridge, flat-screen television and a coffeemaker.
Additionally, the spacious suites feature a king bed and separate living room area with a sleeper sofa. There is a wet bar with a mini-fridge and microwave in the living room area and a table with seating for four. The suites offer the ability to connect two standard guestrooms to the living room area, making it easy to accommodate up to six people.
The hotel staff were wonderful. They were quick in bringing an extra blanket and pillow, and very efficient with check in and out. The room seemed clean, but the bathroom, particularly the bathtub and shower, need some attention. There was some water damage on the ceiling and the tub has some grime and wear and needs to be replaced. It would be nice if breakfast was complimentary.
I was traveling on business and for a variety of reasons I had to stay at three different hotels during that trip. The Hilton was the best of three and it was the least expensive of the three. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Fort Wayne for any purpose.
Families will love to hang out at the heated, indoor pool after a day of exploring Fort Wayne. The pool, with 3- to 4-foot depth, is surrounded by lounge chairs and tables and is a great spot for the adults to relax while the kids take a dip. The pool is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and pool towels are provided. Restrooms and a locker room with showers and changing areas are situated just off the pool area.
The Hub Restaurant
This new onsite restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The casual dining spot offers an omelet station and made-to-order options for breakfast.
The onsite market found in the lobby offers sandwiches, snacks, beverages and Starbucks coffee. The market is open 24/7. Look for the cookie bar, too, in the afternoons.

The Art of Smart Timing
This hotel is busy year-round, especially when events are taking place at the Fort Wayne Convention Center, which is attached to the hotel. However, in the summer months, the weekdays are less busy with travelers.
The Fort Wayne International Airport is about 20 minutes away from this hotel. Fort Wayne is situated about two hours north of Indianapolis and about two and half hours from Sandusky, Ohio.
A free shuttle is available to transport guests to the airport, and several downtown attractions are within walking distance to the hotel. However, a vehicle would be needed to see much of Fort Wayne.
For Mom and Dad
The adults will love to grab a drink at the bar in the lobby, which is open until midnight.
