The hotel is perfect if you’re visiting the Central Canal, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Hall of Fame Museum and Indianapolis Zoo. Safety concern

This property does not stand behind Hilton's 100% guarantee satisfaction. I stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a wedding downtown. Although the location is great, the stay was not. Both nights I had to call down to the front desk for security. I had belligerent, drunk neighbors next to my room that created a disturbances. I was startled awake both nights with yelling in the hallway (for over an hour), as well as banging on my door and the pulling of my door handle several times. Not only was this jolting at 1:30am, but it posed a safety threat. I am a single, female traveling alone and I was so scared that someone was breaking into my room. I could not fall back asleep either either, worried somehow someone was going to get in. When I checked out Sunday morning, the front desk manager apologized for these incidents, but said she could not comp the room since I booked through a booking site and not directly with the hotel. This doesn't make sense though, because the booking site confirmed that Hilton would be handling all payments and I even told the women I had the same credit I used to make the reservation. She did offer me breakfast, but I did not want that nor did I have time before my flight. I do not feel a $15 dollar breakfast makes up for back to back incidents that affected my feeling of security, which is what every hotel guarantees. Free breakfast also doesn't make up for a stay that cost me over $300 dollars and I didn't even sleep because I was so scared. I know the hotel cannot also control the guests that stay within its walls, but if they have a guaranteed happiness policy, I expect them to stand by that and I am not happy with how I am being treated in this situation. If I don't get this resolved with either this hotel specifically or higher up at Hilton, I will definitely think twice before staying at another Hilton property.

Great location to downtown attractions, about 100 ft from Monument Circle. After long flight was excited to discover the Manager's reception. See picture for a nice spread of food. Also came with one glass of complimentary beer or wine. Rooms were nicely renovated and spacious. TV channel selection was plentiful; which is rare these days. In addition, snacks came with my Hilton Honors status and sodas in the refrigerator were included. Would definitely choose this hotel next time in Indianapolis.
