Great staff

by Katieteresa1997

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. The staff was very welcoming, hardworking and accommodating. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable. The only negative I was not prepared for and didn’t read anything about was being approached continuously outside the door of the hotel by beggars and homeless. I get that DC is a large metropolitan city and we are very well traveled but this was as if we had landed in the middle of every beggar homeless person in DC. The hotel should probably warn groups of young people and families. I can’t unsee what I have seen outside of the hotel.

Comfortable, steps from grocery, coffee shop

by Ncountrymom

My daughter and I stayed here because she was participating in National History Day. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. (The pool guy offered to grab my daughter a bigger towel). They had cookies and lime water on arrival. They had a little "snack shop" with candy and drinks and microwaveable dishes. We walked 2 doors down and got fresh fruits, veggies and store made microwavable meals from the grocery store. Also, we were there for Sunday night-Parking is FREE on the street from Sat night to Mon at 7am. We paid for 2 hours (7-9am) on Mon morning which cost $4.60! The details-room service tray in the hall all night, pool clock off by 1/2 hr, etc. need attention but the overall stay was a bargian.
