We stayed here before & had a good experience, so we came back. Another great experience. Lobby is always clean, staff are always nice, professional & friendly. We dined in the restaurant/lounge this time, so we got to enjoy having Tamara as our server. She’s sweet & attentive. ALWAYS smiling! She was also serving at breakfast in the morning, so we got to see her again & she was still full of kindness & smiles. Love her! As for the food, hats off to the chef! I had the ribeye steak, red skin mashed potatoes & side salad. The ribeye was cooked exactly the way I ordered & was seasoned perfectly. The potatoes were so good. I must say I was surprised, as I didn’t expect the food to be so darn good. Very tasty. Hubby had BBQ wings & fries & loved it! He had experienced the wings during our last stay when we ordered room service & he liked them so much he ordered them again. Drinks - were good. I had a margarita & it wasn’t just a bunch of mix. It was well made & not lacking in tequila. The rooms are dated, but hey all of the positives outshines the room decor. Mattresses are firm, pillows are good & housekeeping clearly does their job well. We come to the area a handful of times throughout the year to visit Firekeepers & anytime we want to stay over we will continue to come here. We really enjoy this hotel!
