The elegant suites include two comfy queen beds, a full sleeper sofa in a separate sitting area, and a small kitchen with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The free hot breakfast features freshly baked cinnamon rolls, eggs, fruit, sausage, and more. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, fitness center, and an indoor pool and hot tub.
Your hotel is a fair distance from downtown Corpus Christi, but the 20-minute drive to major attractions is a straight shot down the freeway. You don’t have to go quite so far for dinner options, as the immediate area around your hotel is packed with casual restaurants and shopping centers. Kids will want to start their day in the popular North Beach, about 20 miles away on the Corpus Christi Bay. There, you’ll find sandy white beaches where kayak and paddleboard rentals are plentiful. You can even find shops to rent a fishing pole or two. The Texas State Aquarium is also in North Beach, as is the USS Lexington, a WWII-era aircraft carrier that is now an impressive floating museum. 45 minutes from your hotel is Padre Island, where you can enjoy the beaches of the Gulf, as well as hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and the new Schlitterbahn Water Park. With its quiet location and family-friendly amenities, the Holiday Inn Express is a great place to begin your family vacation in Corpus Christi.

This hotel was such an accommodating overnight stay. We were here for a 50th wedding anniversary party with family. Everyone on the staff was completely professional yet very personable. Our visit was short but everything from check-in, to cleanliness, to comfort of the beds and the breakfast in the morning was top notch. We will definitely comeback here next time we come down from San Antonio! Highly recommend!

Great room! Spacious and comfortable. He only downfall was sleep quality....and because we had to get up very early, this was of highest value.
The sounds of doors slamming and people talking in other rooms and outside was louder louder most hotels. The heavy weighted doors slamming all night prevented sleep.
Unfortunately, we were in 307 and the housekeeping room next to us had some ‘activity’ going on at 3AM, waking both me and my husband up! Intense banging on the wall and loud moaning is NOT what I expect to come from the employee area in a hotel.
We will return but certainly hope the hotel can get a better grasp on intimate relations with staff.
