Featuring a fun indoor mini-waterpark, the Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown/Airport is a popular choice for families. Kids will love the slides and water activity centers! The hotel is not far from the airport or the various downtown attractions, which makes it a convenient choice. Families should consider a double bed guest room with two king beds or a suite with a king bed and a sofa bed. An added bonus is that kids eat free! With all these features, it’s a great option for families.

We stayed her for the close proximity to the children's museum and the zoo. Great downtown location. The waterpark was just okay. Needs some updates/paint. The restaurant was decent for dinner although burgers are 90% of the menu. It isn't the cheapest place to eat but you get vouchers for children under 12 to eat free. The rooms were a decent size with large king size beds. Although, the beds are ridiculously soft. The worst part of the hotel is the lack of sound proofing. This is a known problem as you have to sign a waiver when you check in promising not to be loud or you will be kicked out. A lot of kids stay at this hotel due to the waterpark and they are LOUD. We could hear stomping, running, and jumping in the room above us that lasted for hours. Even minor noises seemed louder than they should be. Any time someone walked by our room we could hear them talking as if they were right in the room with us. I didn't get much sleep and I wouldn't stay here again.
Family Zoo visit
This property is in need of some serious updating.
Beds have to be from 2009 when they opened.
Carpet is stained and torn as you will see in pics.
Waterpark is in need of serious updates.
Hot tub is like bath water
Offered shuttle to zoo but too full to get one.
Parking was a disaster as there is an event center next door and even though there are signs posted and we had to hang something in out windows, there were many cars without one and no where to park.
Restaurant on site.
Ill look for something closer to Old Market next time.
