We checked out at 7am because we couldn’t turn the heat off in our room. I woke up at 5:30 because it was 80 degrees even though it was set to 69. I tried to turn the heat to OFF and go back to sleep but it wouldn’t stop running. Even when I turned the AC on it continued to blow hot. I called the desk about 6:15 to ask if I was misunderstanding how the system worked. She was very nice and suggested I open a window. Windows don’t open. At this point we decided to leave. Upon leaving I asked her to please have her manager call me. Have not heard from them. I understand that equipment malfunctions. I feel you should at least pretend to care. Also, we went to the restaurant about 20 minutes before closing time and they made no bones about the fact that they were done for the day. They took our order but were very short with us. Turned all the lights on and started actively closing at ten til closing. We asked them to just box our food to go because it was not relaxing and all. Just not a good stay.

We don’t have a bad thing to say about this Holiday Inn. It is exactly what you’d expect. It’s not a 5 star resort, but is better than your average 3 star hotel. Burger Theory is damn good for a small restaurant. The hotel was clean, and we have no complaints.
