We stayed here for 3 days dinner and BB. The staff here at the Holyrood are wonderful.
The cant do enough for you. We had a room overlooking the sea and could see the dedicated surfers ride the big waves. The walk from the hotel is amazing it has a walkway taking you along and overlooking the sea which has an abundance of sea birds.
Dinner time is a perfect start to the evening which serves up a variety of choices for starters, main meal and desert. The food was delicious served by the friendly and efficient staff. Will we go there again? OF COURSE WE WILL.
Hi, well what can I say..myself, my husband and 8adult members of our family stayed here for two nights, a Friday and Saturday night. Positives: Room spotless and very comfortable, dinner was very nice.. Negatives: Service was non existent, service at bar and at dinner table was awful, as we asked several times for beverages and our party were totally ignored and had to wait for at least 30mins..in the end our party had no beverages with our celebratory meal, which actually ruined my in laws birthday..Breakfast was moderate, it filled the whole, which isnt great..breakfast was tasteless and very rushed. Their menu looked great, but the breakfast buffet was non existent, no variety of juices, no condiments on the table, nor did they have staff or supervision of staff on floor in any area of the hotel..The bedroom uuuhhh had a few issues which made our first adult trip away uncomfortable; towel rail wastoo low at bath, which meant we couldn't have relaxing bath, toilet roll holder was incorrectly positioned which was difficult if you had poor mobility.. we were not notified that room was on top floor and there was no lift to said room, therefore if we had mobility issues or unfit we did find it breathless to get to our room...It was value for money, if you didn't mind these issues of lack of staff..
