It is our family’s 17th stay in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. It still amazes me how the cast members were able to make our stay more magical than our last visit!
I am very impressed and pleased with the quality of service provided by Fanny. Her charismatic personality and friendly disposition instantly made us feel at home.
Yen was prompt and efficient with our hotel booking. We appreciate the extra mile she took to make our stay seamless and enjoyable and even arranged transport to take us to the airport.
Jason is very helpful and always goes beyond what is required of his role. He never fails to make us feel at ease with his infectious smile.
Yvonne and Rachel in Kingdom Club were awesome. I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered what our family liked for breakfast from our last visit and prepared the most scrumptious breakfast! Their attention to details warmed our hearts.
Winkie and Bonnie in Kingdom Club are simply amazing. They attended to my mum, who is in a wheelchair, and settled her in the room after cocktail so that we could go back to the park on the night of Halloween.
Winkie, Bonnie, Yvonne and Rachel provided excellent and impeccable service. They all went the above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable; which is the reason why my mum keeps insisting that we should only stay in Hong Kong Disneyland!
Special thanks to Tung and Edward for helping with our luggage and Sea who drove us to the airport and found the trolleys for our luggages for us.
Each stay in Hong Kong Disneyland is different but the wonderful cast members always make us feel right at home from the moment we step into the hotel.
We are extremely grateful to everyone for making our stay in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel so special and magical!!
We booked a Premium 3 Magical Days Disney Getaway Package. We chosed the Frozen Suite. It was a fantastic experience. We arrived at the start of the evening because of a flight delay. As soon as we arrived the hotel staff was helpful and polite. Check in was quick and easy as we checked in online the day before. We were then taken to the Kingdom Club to finalise the check in process. "Alex" greeted me there and talked me through my package details, where things are etc. He was fantastic he answered all my queries. We had our welcoming frozen tea set straight the way with complimentary drinks and food from the club room which was great straight off our flight.
The Frozen themed suite was fantastic, large room with a separate bedroom and lounge. There was a large bathroom with toilet spa bathtub and separate shower plus another separate bathroom with a toilet. The shower head was quite amazing. The beds were very comfy on the hard side but it was fine for me. The lounge was filled with Frozen themed items like books, toys etc for the children. The walls and furnishing were all Frozen themed. Wifi was free and fast.
As our suite was on the Kingdom Club floor we get to enjoy the Kingdom Club privileges. From 7:30am - 10pm there is complimentary food and drinks available. From bottled sparkling water and soft drinks to alcohol at happy hour. Finger food was readily available throughout the day. Because of this (and the lunch vouchers we got for Disneyland park) we didn't really pay for any extra for meals. It is worth staying on the club floor for this reason alone. Also each night there is a character available for photos at 8pm and also story time for the kids after that in 3 different languages. My kids loved the storytime period very much.
The 3 day package was very extensive it includes 2 day pass to the park, photo pass +, late check out, and buffet breakfasts with the last day at the Enchanted Restaurants with buffet breakfast with the disney characters. That was definitely the highlight. There were four characters there (Mickey Minnie Tigger and Eeyore) and all of them were entertaining us so much I had trouble concentrating on eating!
There are plenty more facilities at the hotel but unfortunately we are so tied up at spending time at the Disneyland Park during the day and tired by night time that we didn't get the opportunity to try them all out. There are an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, maze etc. I think you can easily spend an extra day here just to use those hotel facilities. Also staying at this hotel you are allowed to use facilities of the Hollywood and Explorer hotels nearby. Again we didn't have time to try those either.
The hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the main Disneyland park but there is complimentary shuttle that takes you to the park. It is on a pretty regular cycle we never had to wait for that shuttle for long both ways.
Unfortunate when we visited Hong Kong had a lot of protests going on. This hotel is on Lantau Island and away from the main areas like Kowloon and Hong Kong Island so we didn't have any issues or disruptions.
Overall we had a great time at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay enjoyable. We will no doubt return to this hotel at the next available opportunity.
